Removal & Installation

  1. Release parking brake. Raise and support vehicle. Remove cotter and clevis pins from parking brake cable end at the propeller shaft. Remove grommet from parking brake cable bracket. Remove cable retaining clip from frame rail.
  2. Remove cable end from parking brake lever assembly. Bend all parking brake cable retaining fingers at parking brake lever bracket assembly and remove cable end from bracket. Remove parking brake cable. To install, reverse removal procedure.
