Synchronizers

OVERHAUL

NOTE: The synchronizer clutch hub and sliding sleeve are replaced as an assembly.

1. Mark clutch hub and sliding sleeve so they can be installed in the same position.

2. Press clutch hub from sliding sleeve, remove clutch keys and springs.

3. Install clutch keys and springs, align marks, install sliding sleeve on clutch hub.
