Reverse Shifter & Seal

REPLACE
1. Remove shifter fork, tap shaft into extension housing until detent ball falls from housing, then remove shaft and detent spring.

2. Remove "O" ring and discard.

3. Install detent spring, then position "O" ring on shaft.

4. Position ball on spring, then while pressing ball downward, slide shaft into place and rotate shaft until ball is seated.

5. Install shift fork.
