A/T - 700R4 Down-Shift Clunk In Manual 3 Range

SUBJECT: 700 R4

PROBLEM:

3-2 Coasting Down-shift clunk in manual "3" range.

SOLUTION:




1. Replace servo cushion spring (see Figure 1) with Part # 8642539.




2. Drill point "A" on spacer plate to 9/64. (See Figure 2)
