Air Valve Rod

Fig. 14 Air valve rod adjustment:

1. Seat vacuum break plunger using external vacuum source (18 inches Hg minimum). Plug air bleed holes where applicable.
2. With air valve completely closed, position gauge specified in Specification Chart between air valve rod and end of slot in air valve lever, Fig. 14.
3. To adjust, bend rod in location shown with vacuum still applied to vacuum break plunger.
