1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Disconnect exhaust pipe from manifold, then lower vehicle.
4. Remove engine cover, then disconnect air injection hose from check valve.
5. Remove exhaust manifold attaching bolts, then disconnect air injection hose from diverter valve and remove exhaust manifold, Figs. 4 and 5.
6. Reverse procedure to install.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Disconnect exhaust pipe from manifold.
4. Disconnect air injection hose bracket from cylinder head.
5. Remove manifold attaching bolts and the manifold, Figs. 4 and 5.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
