Valve Lifters Replace


1. Remove intake manifold as described under ``Intake Manifold, Replace.''
2. Remove valve cover, rocker arm and pushrods on cylinder(s) to be serviced.
3. Remove retainer and restrictors, if equipped, then the valve lifter.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Coat foot of valve lifters with Molykote or equivalent. Following installation, adjust valves as described under ``Valves, Adjust.''
