Fig. 16 Water Pump Replacement:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain cooling system, then disconnect heater hose from pump.
3. Remove fan shroud, fan and fan clutch assembly, then the water pump pulley.
4. Remove water pump attaching bolts and the water pump, Fig. 12.
5. Reverse procedure to install, using suitable pipe sealant on bolt threads.
