Stabilizer Bar: Removal

  1. Raise and support vehicle on frame hoist. Detach nuts and bolts attaching stabilizer brackets and bushings at frame locations. Detach pivot bolts and washers at lower spring anchor plates. See Figure .
  2. Remove stabilizer bar from vehicle. Inspect rubber bushings for excessive wear or deterioration. Check bar for damage. Replace components as necessary.
