Cam Lobe Lift
- With valve cover removed, remove rocker arm assemblies. Mount dial indicator on rocker arm stud. Position dial indicator and ball socket adapter on push rod.
- Slowly rotate engine in direction of rotation until lifter is on base circle of camshaft. Zero dial indicator. Rotate engine until push rod is fully raised. Record lobe lift reading and compare with specifications. If not within limits, replace camshaft and lifters.
