CROSSMEMBER & Suspension Unit: Installation

  1. With front suspension unit positioned on hoist, raise hoist to align unit with frame rail holes. Assemble upper control arm bracket bolts and crossmember bolts to frame rails finger tight.
    NOTE: Control arm bracket bolts must be tightened before crossmember bolts. Ensure crossmember is in contact with frame side rails.
  2. Tighten upper control arm bracket bolts to frame side rails. Remove engine support at this time and lower hoist. Assemble engine mount support bracket-to-front suspension crossmember bolts and tighten to specification. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Lubricate suspension components. Bleed brake system.
