Piston Pins: Installation

Check clearance of piston pin in piston. If clearance exceeds 0.001" over specified clearance, piston and pin must be replaced. Position piston on rod correctly. See Figure. Lubricate piston pin and press in using same tools as outlined in removal procedure. Check piston for freedom of movement on piston pin.
