4.1 L & 4.8L 6-Cylinder Engines: Camshaft: Camshaft: Installation

To install camshaft, reverse removal procedure. Carefully install camshaft in cylinder block to prevent damage to camshaft lobes or bearings. Make sure marks on timing gears are aligned. See Figure.
