1970-74 Models (Exc. 1973-74 "C" & "K" Models)

Disconnect battery. Remove horn button, receiving cup, Belleville spring and bushing. Mark steering wheel-to-shaft relationship. Remove steering shaft nut and washer. Using suitable wheel puller (J-2927), remove steering wheel. To install steering wheel, reverse removal procedure and note the following: Directional signal switch must be in neutral position while installing steering wheel to prevent damage to cancelling cam and switch assembly.
