1965-74 All Models Except "G"

Disconnect battery ground cable and raise vehicle on hoist. Disconnect starter at engine and position to one side. Drain crankcase and remove flywheel (converter) cover. Remove front mount-to-crossmember bracket attaching bolts. Raise engine enough to position 2" x 4" wood blocks between mounts and brackets. Remove engine mount spacer (if equipped), oil pan attaching bolts and oil pan from vehicle.
