"P" Models (1967 only)

Remove steering wheel, disconnect signal wiring at chassis harness, disconnect directional signal wiring leads from multiple connector, marking location of each wire in connector. Disconnect wiring harness retaining clips. Remove directional signal lever attaching screw and lever. Remove three screws attaching signal control assembly to signal housing. Remove signal assembly and housing from column. Remove upper shaft bearing and horn wire from signal assembly.
