Lateral Accelerometer: Description and Operation






DESCRIPTION





The Yaw Rate and Lateral Acceleration Sensor is housed into one unit call the Dynamics Sensor (4)(each individual sensor can not be replaced separately the whole housing unit must be replaced when servicing). The sensor (4) is used to measure side to side (Lateral) motion and vehicle rotational sensing (how fast the vehicle is turning). The sensor (4) is housed under the drivers seat in the drivers seat frame (2).
