Cooling Fan Serpentine Belt With Rear A/C

3.0L COOLING FAN SERPENTINE BELT WITH REAR A/C







CAUTION: Do not attempt to check belt tension with a belt tension gauge on vehicles equipped with an automatic belt tensioner.


1. Remove the radiator fan and shroud assembly.

2. Using a suitable tool, rotate tensioner assembly (1) counterclockwise until tension has been relieved from the fan drive belt (3).


CAUTION: Do not let the tensioner arm snap back to the freearm position, severe damage may occur to the tensioner.


3. Remove the fan drive belt (3).
