Steering Wheel Switch - Raptor

The message center switch is part of the RH steering wheel switch. The switch is comprised of 5 buttons (up, down, OK, back and menu), and 3 buttons (steering, suspension and exhaust) for the optional modes equipped on the Raptor. The MyMode setting feature equipped on the Raptor is activated using the button on the LH steering wheel switch.

The message center switch uses different resistance values associated with each button. The SCCM sends out a reference voltage to the RH or LH steering wheel switch on the input circuit and monitors the voltage drops. The voltage drop varies depending on the resistance of the specific button pressed, providing indication to the SCCM which button is pressed.
