Pinpoint Test CQ: U3000:04, U3000:46 Or U3000:47

  1. DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 
    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
    IPC U3000:04 Control Module: System Internal Failure Sets in the IPC when the IPC detects an EEPROM failure.
    IPC U3000:46 Control Module: Calibration/Parameter Memory Failure Sets in the IPC when the IPC detects an EEPROM failure.
    IPC U3000:47 Control Module: Watchdog/Safety μC Failure Sets in the IPC when the IPC detects a software failure.

    Possible Causes 

    • IPC

  2. CQ1 RETRIEVE IPC (INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)

    • Ignition ON.

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).

    • Wait 10 seconds.

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.

    Is U3000:04, U3000:46 or U3000:47 recorded? 

    Yes  INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to: Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC)
    No  The system is operating correctly at this time.
