Power Transfer Unit Fluid Level Check

Materials 

Check 

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
2. If equipped, remove the underbody shield.

3. Remove the PTU fill plug.

4. Fill the PTU with clean fluid, level with the fill plug opening. Refer to: Specifications .

5. Install the PTU fill plug.

   Torque:Stage 1: 15 NmStage 2: 360deg.

6. If equipped, install the underbody shield.
