Battery and Cables

Vehicles are equipped with a 12 volt, maintenance-free battery. The battery is a 12 volt DC source connected in a negative ground system and is a voltage stabilizer for the 12 volt electrical system.

A battery monitoring sensor is attached to the negative battery cable and is serviced as an assembly. Refer to: Charging System - Electric - System Operation and Component Description .
