Transmission Fluid Cooler: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in N, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - 3.5L Duratec (202kW/275PS)/3.5L EcoBoost (235kW/320PS) - Overview .

    AWD 

  2. Remove the front subframe. Refer to: FRONT SUBFRAME

    All vehicles 

  3. NOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping fluids.

    Clamp the coolant hoses, release the clamps and disconnect the coolant hoses. Remove the bolts and the transmission fluid cooler.

    Torque: 11 Nm
