Fuel Tank Filler Pipe: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING
- Drain the fuel tank. Refer to: Fuel Tank Draining FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION - 3.5L ECOBOOST (235KW/320PS)

NOTE: Some residual fuel may remain in the fuel tank filler pipe. Carefully drain any residual fuel into a suitable container.
- Disconnect the fuel vapor tube quick release coupling. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION - 3.5L ECOBOOST (235KW/320PS)
- Disconnect the fuel tank vent tube quick release coupling. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION - 3.5L ECOBOOST (235KW/320PS)
- Loosen the fuel tank filler pipe hose clamp and disconnect the hose from the fuel tank.
Torque: 3.7 Nm
- Remove the fuel tank filler pipe bracket bolt, release the spring lock coupling and remove the fuel tank filler pipe. Refer to: SPRING LOCK COUPLINGS
Torque: 25 Nm
