Ignition Coil-On-Plug: Installation

  1. Inspect the ignition coil-on-plugs and replace any units with damaged seals or cracks, rips or tears in the rubber boots.

  2. Install the ignition coil-on-plugs and the mounting bolts. Tighten the bolts.

    Torque: Stage 1: 7 Nm Stage 2: 50deg.

  3. Connect the ignition coil-on-plug electrical connectors and connect the high-pressure fuel pump electrical connector.

  4. NOTE: When removing or installing the high-pressure fuel pump noise insulator, spreading the openings will reduce the risk of damage.

    Install the high-pressure fuel pump noise insulator. Install the high-pressure fuel pump noise insulator retainer.
