Selector Lever Knob: Removal

NOTE: The SelectShift™ switch is part of the selector lever knob. To install a new SelectShift™ switch a new selector lever knob must be installed.
  1. Fully apply the parking brake lever.

  2. Position aside the selector lever bezel.

    1. Lift the back of the selector lever bezel and release the tabs.
    2. Lift the front of the selector lever bezel and release the tabs.

  3. If equipped, disconnect the Tow/Haul switch electrical connector.

  4. Disconnect the SelectShift™ switch electrical connector.

  5. Remove the screws and the selector lever knob and bezel assembly.

  6. Separate the selector lever knob from the selector lever bezel.
