Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor: Removal

RH (right-hand) Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensors
- Remove the upper intake manifold. Refer to: Upper Intake Manifold .

- Disconnect the intake CMP sensor electrical connector and remove the retainer and the CMP sensor.
Torque: 10 Nm
- Disconnect the exhaust CMP sensor electrical connector and remove the retainer and the CMP sensor.
Torque: 10 Nm
LH (left-hand) Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensors
- Disconnect the intake CMP sensor electrical connector and remove the retainer and the CMP sensor.
- Remove the upper intake manifold. Refer to: Upper Intake Manifold .

- Disconnect the exhaust CMP sensor electrical connector and remove the retainer and the CMP sensor.
Torque: 10 Nm
- Disconnect the fuel rail electrical connector and position aside. Disconnect the intake CMP sensor electrical connector and remove the retainer and the CMP sensor.
Torque: 10 Nm
- Disconnect the exhaust CMP sensor electrical connector and remove the retainer and the CMP sensor.
