Removal And Installation: Muffler: Removal

Position vehicle on a hoist. Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING
Remove the tailpipe. Refer to: Tailpipe .
Remove the bolts.
Torque: 40 Nm

Detach the exhaust isolators and remove the muffler assembly.

Isolator hanger bracket

NOTE: The below step is only necessary, if you are replacing the isolator hanger bracket.
1. Detach the isolator.
2. Remove the bolts and the isolator hanger bracket.
  Torque: 30 Nm
