Transfer Case Draining and Filling

Draining 

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING
2. 1. Remove the drain plug and drain the fluid.
   2. Clean the drain plug and the area around drain plug.
   3. Install the drain plug.

      Torque: 16 Nm

   Filling 

3. Remove the bolts and the transfer case damper assembly.

4. 1. Clean the fill plug and the area around fill plug. Remove the fill plug.
   2. Fill the transfer case fluid. Refer to: Specifications .
   3. Install the fill plug.

      Torque: 16 Nm

5. Install the transfer case damper assembly.

   Torque: 55 Nm
