Lower Ball Joint: Installation

NOTE: If the wheel knuckle is damaged, replace with new.
Clean and inspect the ball joint mounting location on the wheel knuckle.

NOTE: Make sure that the special tools are installed completely. All must be tightened until snug but not over tightened or damage to the tools and/or component may result.
Using the special tools, hold the jack screw and turn the nut counter clockwise, install the ball joint until fully seated.Use Special Service Tool: 204-069 (T81P-1104-C) Remover/Installer, Front Wheel Hub.
- Install the 2 new lower ball joint bolts.
Torque: 63 Nm

NOTE: Use the hex-holding feature to prevent the lower ball joint stud from turning while installing the lower ball joint nut.
Connect the lower control arm and install the lower ball joint nut.
Torque: 215 Nm
