The design of the brake discs as well as the wheel hub has been changed to guarantee easier maintenance of the rear brake system and specifically to make replacing the brake discs easier.
These changes mean that it is now possible to replace the brake discs without dismantling the wheel hub. As clearly shown in the following illustration above, the inner profile of the brake disc fits exactly over the outer profile of the wheel hub, which means that the brake disc just has to be turned slightly and then pushed over the hub to replace it.
There are now also dust shields fitted at the rear brake discs for improved protection against dust and dirt.
