Engine Crossmember: Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Refer to: Jacking and Lifting .
- Use the General Equipment: Wooden Block. Use the General Equipment: Transmission Jack
- Remove the front lower air deflector.
Torque 1: 5 Nm
Torque 2: 4.8 Nm
- Remove and discard the lower load path bar retainers and remove the lower load path bars.
Torque 1: 55 Nm
Torque 2: 25 Nm
- Remove the fasteners and position aside the charge air cooler (CAC) intake pipe.
Torque: 8 Nm
- Remove the bolt and position aside the battery to starter motor wiring harness.
Torque: 12 Nm
- Remove the battery cable retainers from the engine crossmember.
- On both sides.
Torque: 103 Nm
- If equipped On both sides.
- On both sides.
Torque: 30 Nm
- On both sides.
Torque: 70 Nm
