Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) Oil Control Solenoid: Removal

RH (right-hand) Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) Oil Control Solenoids 

1. Remove the RH valve cover. Refer to: Valve Cover RH
2. Remove the bolt and the exhaust VCT oil control solenoid.

   Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

3. Remove the bolts and the intake VCT oil control solenoid.

   Torque: Stage 1: 71 lb.in (8 Nm) | Stage 2: 30°

   LH (left-hand) Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) Oil Control Solenoids 

4. Remove the LH valve cover. Refer to:Valve Cover RH
5. Remove the bolt and the exhaust VCT oil control solenoid.

   Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

6. Remove the bolts and the intake VCT oil control solenoid.

   Torque: Stage 1: 71 lb.in (8 Nm) | Stage 2: 30°
