Fuel Lines: Removal

All vehicles 

1. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to: Fuel Tank  .
2. Remove LH Catalytic Converter. Refer to: CATALYTIC CONVERTER LH .

   Vehicles with LH drive 

3. Remove the quick release coupling. Refer to: Spring Lock Couplings .

4. Detach the retainer clips.

   Vehicles with RH drive 

5. Remove the quick release coupling. Refer to: Spring Lock Couplings .

7. Remove the nuts and the heat shield.

   Torque: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)

8. Remove the nuts, bolts, push-pins and splash shield.

9. Remove the nuts and the fuel tank deflector.

   Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

10. Release the retainers and remove the fuel line.

11. If equipped. Release the retainers and remove the fuel line. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
