Muffler and Tailpipe: Installation
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Clean all exhaust connections before reassembly.
- Partial replacement. Connect the front muffler to the rear muffler entry pipes using exhaust clamps.
Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)

NOTE: Make sure the trailing edge of the clamps correctly locates over the indented ring on the front muffler inlet pipes.
Loosely install the exhaust clamps, and correctly locate them over the indented ring on the front muffler inlet pipes.

NOTE: Make sure the decorative tips are properly aligned with the openings in the rear bumper cover and adjust if needed.
Align the decorative tips and tighten the clamps in the sequence shown in illustration.
Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)
- Check the exhaust system for leaks.
