Wastegate Control Actuator: Installation

NOTE: Make sure that new components are installed.

Install the wastegate control actuator, then install and tighten the bolts.

Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

NOTE: The turbocharger wastegate actuator linkage should be manually moved by hand to the fully open position prior to removing the C-Clips.The turbocharger wastegate actuator linkage should be manually moved by hand to the fully open position prior to installaing the C-Clips.

Install the new wastegate control actuator linkage, then install the c-clips.

Connect the wastegate control actuator electrical connector.

Install the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe .
NOTE: Substantial opening and closing torque is applied by this system. To prevent injury, be careful to keep fingers away from wastegate mechanism when actuated. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.

With the KOEO, using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the PCM DTC's and reset the KAM.
