Inverter System Controller [SOBDMC]: Installation

  1. NOTE: Steps For ISC LV Harness Connector Assembling:
    NOTE: 1. Ensure the Harness Connector is fully seated with the ISC header when pluged in.
    NOTE: 2. Ensure ISC header and harness connector are aligned properly, no drooping.
    NOTE: 3. Gently close the latch clockwise.
    NOTE: 4. If the latch is hard to close, realign the connectors. Don't force the latch to close.
    NOTE: 5. Hand start the inverter system controller [SOBDMC] bolts to prevent cross-threading.

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  2. Fill the Electric Powertrain Cooling System. Refer to Cooling System Filling and Bleeding .
  3. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

    If the inverter system controller was replaced, upload the information from the diagnostic tool to the inverter system controller [SOBDMC] using the Programmable Modules Installation routine. Refer to Module Programming .

  4. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

    Perform the PATS module initialization procedure. Refer to Anti-Theft Key Programming - Scan Tool .

  5. NOTE: This step is only necessary if the PMI routine was completed using as-built data.

    Using the scan tool, Perform the Transmission Strategy Download. Refer to Transmission Strategy Download .
