Wheel Bearings, Wheel Hub Seal and Wheel Bearing Cups: Installation

- Using the special tools, install the new outer bearing cup.Use Special Service Tool: 205-099 (T75T-1225-A) Installer, Axle Bearing., 205-153 (T80T-4000-W) Handle.
- Using the special tools, install the new inner bearing cup.Use Special Service Tool: 205-100 (T75T-1225-B) Installer, Axle Bearing., 205-153 (T80T-4000-W) Handle.
- Inspect the exciter ring for damage, replace if necessary. Refer to: Rear Wheel Speed Sensor

NOTE: The wheel hub bearings must be prelubricated with grease prior to installation. Pack each bearing with a bearing packing tool. Also apply grease to the thrust surface of the bearing.
Install the new inner wheel hub bearing and the new slinger, with the slinger tangs toward the inner wheel bearing.
Material: Motorcraft® Premium Long-Life Grease / XG-1-E1 (ESA-M1C75-B)

NOTE: The inner wheel hub seal surface should be clean of all foreign material before installation.
Using the special tools, install the new inner wheel hub seal.Use Special Service Tool: 205-153 (T80T-4000-W) Handle., 205-422 Installer, Wheel Hub Oil Seal (10 1/2).
- Install the wheel hub. Refer to: Wheel Hub
