Transmission Fluid Cooler Tubes: Removal
NOTE:
Make sure that all openings are sealed with clean blanking caps.
NOTE:
Use suitable paper to absorb any escaping fluid.
- Left-hand side only. Remove the LH headlamp assembly. Refer to: Headlamp Assembly .
- Remove the air cleaner. Refer to: Air Cleaner .
- Detach the wiring harness retainers. Remove the nut and the bracket, position aside the wiring harness.

NOTE: Make sure that all openings are sealed.
Remove the bolt.

NOTE: Make sure that no component falls off during removal.
Remove the transmission fluid cooler tube band seal and backing ring.
- Remove the bolt and the transmission fluid cooler tube bracket.

NOTE: Make sure that all openings are sealed.
Remove the transmission fluid cooler tube bolts.

NOTE: Make sure that no component falls off during removal.
Remove the transmission fluid cooler tube band seal.
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Left-hand side only. Remove the LH wheel. Refer to: WHEELS AND TIRES .
- Remove the retainers and the underbody shield
- Remove the nut and position aside the wiring harness bracket.

NOTE: Make sure that all openings are sealed.
Remove the bolt.

NOTE: Make sure that no component falls off during removal.
Remove the transmission fluid cooler tube band seal and backing ring.
- Remove the transmission fluid cooler tube clamps.
