The PCM monitors clutch applications if a non electrical fault is detected for the clutches a DTC is set in memory.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition PCM P2700:00 Transmission Friction Element "A" Apply Time Range/Performance: No Sub Type Information DTC is set with either P0751 or P0752, if either of these diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are set resolve them first. PCM P2701:00 Transmission Friction Element "B" Apply Time Range/Performance: No Sub Type Information DTC is set with either P0761 or P0757, if either of these diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are set resolve them first. PCM P2702:00 Transmission Friction Element "C" Apply Time Range/Performance: No Sub Type Information DTC is set with either P0761 or P0762, if either of these diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are set resolve them first. PCM P2703:00 Transmission Friction Element "D" Apply Time Range/Performance: No Sub Type Information DTC is set with either P0766 or P0767, if either of these diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are set resolve them first. PCM P2704:00 Transmission Friction Element "E" Apply Time Range/Performance: No Sub Type Information DTC is set with either P0771 or P0772, if either of these diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are set resolve them first. PCM P2705:00 Transmission Friction Element "F" Apply Time Range/Performance: No Sub Type Information DTC is set with either P2707 or P2708, if either of these diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are set resolve them first. - Clutch stuck on
- Clutch stuck off
- Clutch damaged
- AG1 CHECK FOR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
- Ignition ON.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the DTC for the PCM.
- Road test the vehicle.
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the PCM self-test.
Are diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P2700, P2701, P2702, P2703, P2704, P2705 present in the PCM?
Yes If either DTC P0751 or P0752 are set resolve them first. Otherwise, for DTC P2700, REFER to: A Clutch . If either DTC P0756 or P0757 are set resolve them first. Otherwise, for DTC P2701, REFER to: B Clutch . If either DTC P0761 or P0762 are set resolve them first. Otherwise, for DTC P2702, REFER to: C Clutch . If either DTC P0766 or P0767 are set resolve them first. Otherwise, for DTC P2703, REFER to: Hydraulic Selectable One-Way Clutch Assembly . If either DTC P0771 or P0772 are set resolve them first. Otherwise, for DTC P2704, REFER to: E Clutch . If either DTC P2707 or P2708 are set resolve them first. Otherwise, for DTC P2705, REFER to: F Clutch . No The fault is not present at this time and may be intermittent.
