Receiver Drier - 2.5L Duratec (125kW/170PS): Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Recover the refrigerant. Refer to: Air Conditioning (A/C) System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging .
- With the vehicle in N, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- If equipped.
- Remove the retainers and the shield plate.
- Remove the retainers and the engine undershield.
- Remove the retainers, the bolts and the radiator undershield.
- Remove the bolts and position aside the front lower crossmember.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Remove the receiver drier plug and the receiver drier element.
