Receiver Drier - 2.0L Duratec-HE (110kW/150PS) - MI4: Removal
NOTE:
During the removal or installation of components, cap, tape or otherwise appropriately protect all openings and tubes/fittings to prevent the ingress of dirt or other contamination. Remove caps, tape and other protective materials prior to installation.

- Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Air Conditioning (A/C) System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging .
- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to: Front Bumper Cover .

NOTE: NOTICE:
Do not apply open flame to mounting bolt.
NOTE: Cycle the inductive heat tool in 20-30 second increments to avoid damage to the surrounding area.NOTE: Adhesive is applied to threads on the mounting bolt during manufacture.Using an inductive heat tool, apply heat to the mounting bolt to soften adhesive, following the tool manufacturer's instructions.
- Remove the retainers, bracket, and the receiver drier.
- Make sure to cover any open ports to prevent debris from entering the system.
