Condenser - 2.0L Duratec-HE (110kW/150PS) - MI4: Removal

Refer to: Climate Control System Health and Safety Precautions .
Recover the refrigerant. Refer to: Air Conditioning (A/C) System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging .
Remove the air cleaner. Refer to: Air Cleaner .
Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to: Front Bumper Cover .
Remove the A/C compressor outlet line nut, the thermostatic expansion valve manifold and tube assembly nut and disconnect the fittings.
Torque: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)

Release the retainers and remove the radiator sight shield.

Remove the bolt and remove the transmission fluid cooler tube bracket.
Torque: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

Remove the bolts and the engine underbody shield.

Remove the bolts, screws and retainers and the radiator undershield.

Disconnect the clip and position aside the coolant hoses.

On both sides. Remove the bolts and remove the front side member.
Torque: 1: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm) 2: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)

1. Remove the condenser bracket bolt.
2. Release the tabs and lift the condenser up off the hooks. Remove the condenser.
