Fuel Tank Filler Pipe: Removal

Drain the fuel tank. Refer to: Fuel Tank Draining .
Remove the fuel filler door assembly. Refer to: FUEL FILLER DOOR ASSEMBLY .
Remove the RHR wheel and tire. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
Remove the locking tabs, retainer and then rear RH side wheel mud flap.

Remove the retainers and the rear RH side fender splash shield.

1. Release the clamp and disconnect the fuel tank filler pipe from the fuel tank.
  Install the General Equipment: Hose Clamp(s)
2. Disconnect the vapor tube quick release coupling and position aside the hose. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .

Disconnect the fuel evaporator tube quick release couplings and then remove the retainers and the fuel tank filler pipe assembly. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
