Fuel Pump and Sender Unit: Removal

- Remove the fuel tank. Refer to: Fuel Tank .
- Disconnect the quick release coupling and remove the fuel feed tube. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling

NOTE: Take extra care not to damage the fuel tank level sensor float and arm.
Using the lock ring tool, unlock and remove the Fuel Pump and Sender unit lock ring.
Use Special Service Tool: 310-123 Locking Ring, Fuel Tank.

NOTE: Use suitable paper to absorb any escaping fluid.NOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.
Drain the reservoir.
