Front Center Seat Cushion Cover: Removal

  1. Remove the front center seat. Refer to: Front Center Seat .
  2. Lift the seat cushion.

    1. Release the seat cushion latch.
    2. Lift the seat cushion.

  3. Remove the cup holder.

  4. Remove screws and the seat storage tray.

  5. Position the seat cushion down.

  6. Release the seat latch and fold the seat backrest down.

    Regular Cab 

  7. Remove the backrest latch cover.

  8. Remove the screws, release the retaining clip and remove the RH side shield.

  9. Remove the screws, release the retaining clips and remove the LH side shield.

  10. Release the seat latch and raise the seat backrest up.

    Super Cab and Crew Cab 

  11. Remove the rear cup holder assembly.

    1. Release the rear cup holder retainers.
    2. Disconnect the auxiliary power point electrical connector.

  12. If equipped. Lift the armrest storage compartment lid.

  13. Remove the backrest latch cover.

  14. Remove the screws, release the retaining clip and remove the RH side shields.

  15. Remove the screws, release the retaining clips and remove the LH side shield.

  16. Release the seat latch and raise the seat backrest up.

    All vehicles 

  17. Remove the seat cushion pivot bolts.

    Torque: 26 lb.ft (35 Nm)

  18. Release the LH side of the seat cushion from the seat cushion base and remove the seat cushion.

    1. Lift the cushion cover over the seat cushion latch catch.
    2. Detach the cushion cover tabs.

  19. Release the J-hook and position the cushion cover upward.

  20. Release the hook-and-loop retainer and position the cushion cover strap aside.

  21. NOTE: Use care when separating the seat cushion trim cover from the hook-and-loop strip or the hook-and-loop strip may be torn from the seat cushion foam pad.

    Release the hook-and-loop strip and position the cushion cover upward.

  22. Remove the cushion cover.
