Power Steering Fluid Cooler - 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel: Removal

NOTE:
While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of foreign material or failure of the power steering components may result.
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Remove the radiator grille. Refer to: Radiator Grille .
- On both sides. Remove the headlamp assembly. Refer to: Headlamp Assembly .

- All Vehicles. Disconnect the horn electrical connector and detach the wiring harness retainer.
- Vehicles Equipped With Hood Ajar Switch. Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Vehicles Not Equipped With Hood Ajar Switch. Detach the wiring harness retainer.
- Vehicles With Park Aid Camera. Detach the wiring harness retainers.
- Remove the bolts, push-pins and the radiator grille bracket.
Torque:
1: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
2: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)

NOTE: Make sure the area is clean and free of foreign material before disconnecting the power steering hoses.NOTE: Make sure that all openings are sealed.
Release the clamps and disconnect the hoses. Discard the clamps.

- Detach the coolant tube.
- Remove the bolts and the power steering fluid cooler.
Torque: 26 lb.ft (35 Nm)
