Sector Shaft Arm Drag Link - F-250 F-350: Removal

- Position the vehicle on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .

- Remove and discard the tie rod cotter pins.
- Remove the tie rod nut retainers.
- Remove the tie rod nuts.
Torque: 85 lb.ft (115 Nm)
- On both sides. Separate the tie rod from the sector shaft arm drag link.
Use Special Service Tool: 211-003 (T64P-3590-F) Remover, Steering Arm.

- Remove and discard the sector shaft arm drag link cotter pin.
- Remove and discard the sector shaft arm drag link nut retainer.
- Remove and discard the sector shaft arm drag link nut.
Torque: 129 lb.ft (175 Nm)
- Separate the sector shaft arm drag link from the sector shaft arm.
Use Special Service Tool: 211-003 (T64P-3590-F) Remover, Steering Arm.
- Separate the sector shaft arm drag link from the idler arm and remove the sector shaft arm drag link.
Use Special Service Tool: 211-003 (T64P-3590-F) Remover, Steering Arm.
