DTC DESCRIPTION P042F - EGR A CONTROL STUCK CLOSED

Description:	This DTC sets when the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) setpoint is more than a specified threshold, the actual EGR position is less than a specified threshold, and the EGR control limit is more than a specified limit.
Possible Causes:	EGRVCL circuit open EGRVCH circuit open EGRVCL and EGRVCH circuits are cross wired EGRVCL and EGRVCH circuits are shorted together Debris restricting the EGR valve movement Binding or stuck EGR valve Damaged EGR valve
