DTC DESCRIPTION P042E - EGR A CONTROL STUCK OPEN

Description:	This DTC sets when the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) setpoint is less than a specified threshold, the actual EGR position is greater than a specified threshold and the EGR control limit is less than a specified limit.
Possible Causes:	EGRVCL circuit open EGRVCH circuit open EGRVCL and EGRVCH circuits are cross wired EGRVCL and EGRVCH circuits are shorted together Debris restricting the EGR valve movement Binding or stuck EGR valve Damaged EGR valve

Application	Key On Engine Off	Key On Engine Running	Continuous Memory
